for lithium hydroxide
production in Bitterfeld
AMG Lithium has now finally entrusted EPC Group with the detail engineering for the battery grade lithium hydroxide upgrading plant in Bitterfeld. The contract was signed by the managing directors on March 29, 2022.
In addition to the usual financial, time and quality targets, the planning also focuses on specific environmental targets and occupational safety: extensive avoidance of wastewater, avoidance of product exposure and CO2 reduction through energy-efficient processes. Furthermore, both companies also intend to cooperate with each other on future projects in Bitterfeld and thus leverage synergies.
“We are pleased to continue to support AMG Lithium with our expertise in this challenging and future-oriented project,” says Franz-Josef Willems, Managing Director of EPC Engineering & Technologies GmbH.
